Man United are pushing hard to seal a deal to sign Chido Obi-Martin as soon as possible.
Manchester United Football Club have always excelled when signing younger players and giving them a chance at the highest level. The Old Trafford side have displayed this to the fullest recently, with Alejandro Garnacho now a mainstay in the starting line-up.
INEOS and Sir Jim Ratcliffe are trying to take this club back to its roots, including hoovering up the best young talents in the world. Enter, Chido Obi-Martin.
The young striker is currently on Arsenal’s books, though it looks like he’s all set to leave the Emirates Stadium this summer.
Now, according to Fabrizio Romano, United are trying to sign the striker ‘as soon as possible’. The Reds are pushing hard to get this deal done.
Obi-Martin has visited several clubs in the UK and Germany, while a final decision from the teenage starlet is considered ‘imminent’.

The 16-year-old is one of the hottest prospects in the world. If United can convince him to choose Manchester, from right under Arsenal’s nose too, it would be a sensational bit of business.
I’m still firmly of the opinion that there is no better place in the world as a young player than at United. They’re always more than willing to give the next generation a chance and Obi-Martin will know that.
Although it is likely going to be a couple of years before Obi-Martin is ready for the first-team level, what a coup it’d be to have him on the books.
