Man United reach agreement with Fenerbahce over Marcos Rojo loan: report

Manchester United Football Club still have deadwood aplenty on their books. It’s fair to say it’ll take more than one window to complete the clearout.

One player who Red Devils fans would like to get rid of is Marcos Rojo. Well, that wish could well be closer than we think…

The story comes from Sport Witness, who translate a report from Turkish media outlet Sporun Dibi. They say that Fenerbahce Sporting Director, Damien Comolli, has reached an agreement with United over the loan of 29-year-old Rojo.

Now they must convince the player to make the move…

Despite the agreement between United and Fener, it is claimed that Rojo doesn’t want to join the Super Lig giants. Although no reasoning is given, you’d imagine it’s something to do with the hefty wage packet he’s currently taking home, and with respect to Fenerbahce, it would be a rather steep step down…

Us United fans have just lost all patience with the Argentine. He’s constantly injured, and quite frankly he’s not very good. The sooner he moves away from Old Trafford, the better it’d be for all involved.

Thankfully, the European transfer window doesn’t close for another couple of weeks yet so there’s still time…
