Man United ready to sell star attacker for poor attitude in training: report

Manchester United need to go back to square one and build from the ground up. It all starts with a summer clearout as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to move on from all the players with poor attitudes.

According to The Sun, Anthony Martial’s head is now on the chopping block. In an exclusive, the English media outlet claim that Solskjaer is ready to boot the Frenchman out of Old Trafford due to a bad attitude in training.

Presumably, his lazy demeanour has now gone from pre-match warm-ups to not even putting the effort in during training sessions. To be brutally honest, that’s just not good enough.

Martial wasn’t even in the squad for the Red Devils’ last game against Huddersfield Town which leads me to believe he’s either injured or Solskjaer was trying to send him a message. Given the fact that he seemingly couldn’t be bothered warming up before the Chelsea game the week previous, I believe it’s the latter…

Honestly, that just sums up what’s happening at United at the moment. it just isn’t good enough. This squad should be fighting it out for major trophies but there are far too many mercenaries who are just in it for the pay-cheque and nothing else.

Unfortunately, Martial is one of many problems that the club have to deal with and it’s going to take an awfully long time to clear out all the dead-wood. I just hope Solskjaer gets time to implement his tactics and ideas with a squad that he’s built.
