Man United have turned down one offer for Scott McTominay, in the hope that a higher bid is made.
Manchester United have signed Joshua Zirkzee, while a move to acquire Leny Yoro appears to be happening rapidly.
The Red Devils may now have to sell before they can buy, while, unusually, players are attracting interest from elsewhere despite their overinflated wages at Old Trafford.
One such man is Scott McTominay. He enjoyed himself in 2023/24, reaching double figures for goals scored at a time where United really needed it.
However, the Scotland international has a future that’s far from secure in Manchester.
Sky Sports News’ Lyall Thomas has provided the latest update on the McTominay front, confirming that United have rejected a £17m bid for the midfielder, from fellow Premier League side Fulham.
The Cottagers are now ‘weighing up’ making a second bid for the United veteran, who has been at the club for twenty years.

While it would be sad to see McTominay leave, I can see why the club would look to generate some decent funds by his sale.
McTominay’s contract is now winding down and he could potentially leave for free next summer. He’s also never really implemented himself as a week-in-week-out starter at Old Trafford. I do not see that changing anytime soon.
While it would be weird to see him running out for Fulham, I can see why a move appeals to all parties. They’re looking to replace Joao Palhinha who is now heading to Bayern Munich.
