Manchester United Football Club have been struggling. There is absolutely no getting away from that.
Jose Mourinho’s men have done better recently, but tougher tasks are to come and the team simply have to improve. Perhaps one reason as to why the on-field performances aren’t so good is down to the fact that several players’ contract situations are still up in the air.
Now, according to The Mirror, per The Sun, Manchester United are struggling to agree new deals with both Anthony Martial and David de Gea; and it’s down to Sanchez’s hefty £400,000-a-week wages
Martial has been in scintillating form recently. The French superstar has been United’s main goal-getter over the last month, and when he’s in the team, the Red Devils just look like a far more threatening outfit.
Apparently, the club is looking to double his £70,000-a-week wages, but it seems as though the former AS Monaco man is holding out for more.
Then you have De Gea. He is the best goalkeeper in the world and I believe he’s well within his rights to demand £300,000-a-week. Let’s be honest, we can’t give him the trophy-success that he wants, so the only way we’ll persuade him to stay is by throwing money aplenty at him. For me, it seems a no-brainer as we desperately need him.
