Man United sent scouts to watch the talented Roony Bardghji in action.
I’ve always been a big believer in Manchester United getting back to basics and performing like we all know they can, putting their trust in youth and avoiding the marquee signings.
It’s no coincidence that with money being thrown around over the last decade, the emphasis has switched – and it hasn’t quite worked out. It’s all about finding that right balance and blend. I believe Erik ten Hag will do that.
No longer should we splash cash on player’s like Antony, when you have the ready-made footballer like Alejandro Garnacho waiting in the wings. That’s the example that Ten Hag and Sir Jim Ratcliffe should look to follow.
The latest from The Sun believes the Reds are now trying to go back down that youthful route, eyeing Copenhagen’s next big thing; Roony Bardghji.
According to The Sun’s information, United have sent scouts to watch the talented 18-year-old in action, in the Atlantic Ocean Cup, an event that Scandinavian clubs use to get back up to speed after the winter break.
United fans may already be familiar with Bardghji’s name, as he helped beat the Reds for Copenhagen in the Champions League before the turn of the year. He scored their fourth goal during their 4-3 win…
As a result of his impressive displays, it’s thought that Bardghji’s price tag is now up to £17m, with Copenhagen now in a position to demand a recorded fee to let the young man leave.
Sure, there’s always risk involved when you’re signing players who are so young, though Bardghji is someone that United could mould into the complete player. To me, this feels like a no brainer.
