Erik ten Hag has confirmed that three Man United players are sidelined with injury for the game vs Leeds United tonight.
Manchester United Football Club reignite a rivalry with their old enemy this evening, as the Red Devils gear up to take on Leeds United in front of a packed Old Trafford.
These games are always super intense, with our opponents going into this one with that little bit of extra motivation as they’ll be looking to impress their new manager.
Ahead of the game, Erik ten Hag gave us the all-important team news, confirming that a trio of first-teamers will remain unavailable for the game tonight through injury.
The first two players, Anthony Martial and Scott McTominay, were already confirmed absences. Sadly, Antony has been added to the injury list. The severity of his issue isn’t thought to be anything major.

“They [Martial and McTominay] are not involved tomorrow,” said Ten Hag, per ManUtd.com. “And the same with Antony dos Santos. He is also not available for tomorrow so we have to sort that out.”
United have every reason to be concerned about their injury situation going into this game – particularly in midfield.
Obviously, Donny van de Beek and Christian Eriksen are done for the season, with McTominay now joining them on the sidelines. Casemiro is also suspended. This feels like a situation where Marcel Sabitzer will make his first start. One more injury or suspension in that area of the field and United are practically running on fumes…
As for Martial, it’s just becoming a major issue at this point. The Frenchman keeps picking up these niggling little problems and it’s becoming a genuine concern. He’s becoming a passenger and Ten Hag’s opinion of the Frenchman is no doubt slowly starting to change.
Hopefully, United can get through this tricky period while picking up maximum points – and really push on when they get their squad players back from injury.
