The list of players being linked with potential moves to Manchester United is seemingly growing by the hour.
On Saturday evening, French publication Soccer Link claim that Paris Saint-Germain defender Presnel Kimpembe is the latest name on the radar.
Their report claims that the Red Devils have ‘looked into’ the possibility of signing the 23-year-old centre-half this summer, while Arsenal and Chelsea are both keen – although the latter have a transfer ban looming over their heads.
Soccer Link say that Kimpembe’s future isn’t guaranteed due to the fact that Matthijs de Ligt could arrive at PSG this summer, hence why a move away for the Frenchman could well be on the cards.
In his two games against United in the Champions League, Kimpembe was hit and miss. He scored the opener in the game at Old Trafford although he struggled to deal with Romelu Lukaku in the second leg.
The article does state that Kimpembe wants to stay with the Ligue 1 giants although he knows the competition will be tough, and for me, that’d be enough to look elsewhere. United need players who want to be here and no matter how big of a wage packet you throw his way, you cannot guarantee his happiness.
