After a hard-fought victory over Chelsea on Monday Night Football, Manchester United turn their attentions to Europa League action, with a game against Club Brugge taking place this evening.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be looking to get off on the right foot, by taking a favourable result into the return leg at Old Trafford in a fortnight’s time.
Obviously, that’s easier said than done, after all, there are no bad sides in Europe anymore. Brugge will be up for the fight and it’s up to the Baby Faced Assassin to pick a team capable of getting the win.
Anyway, the eagle-eyed Manchester Evening News reporters have spotted a 19-strong squad travelling for the Club Brugge game – including three January signings.
Odion Ighalo is included, he’s in line for his first start, while Bruno Fernandes could make his first continental appearance for the Red Devils. Then you have Nathan Bishop, who was also acquired in January. He travels as the third-choice keeper.
Familiar faces like David de Gea, Anthony Martial and Harry Maguire have all travelled, though expect some rotation from the United boss for this one. I’d assume that Andreas Pereira, Jesse Lingard and Sergio Romero will all come in and start in Bruges.
