Man United star fears Old Trafford career is over, has fallen out with Mourinho: report

Luke Shaw fears that his Manchester United career could be over, reports The Guardian.

Apparently, the left-backs relationship with the manager has completely broken down, with Jose Mourinho unhappy with Shaw’s attitude, while the player feels he has done all he could.

The 22-year-old feels that he won’t be given another opportunity to prove his worth, following returning from injury back in September.

So far this campaign, Shaw has only made a couple of cameo appearances in the Carabao Cup. You’d imagine that he’d love to be playing a considerable amount of minutes more than that, but obviously, that hasn’t happened thus far.

I feel for Shaw, I really do. This is probably our most talented left-back within the Manchester United squad, but the opportunities just haven’t been there for him.

Yes, Ashley Young, Daley Blind and Matteo Darmian have all done well as stand-ins, but there s absolutely no way that any of those guys are good enough to play in that spot against the top teams.

Injuries haven’t helped Shaw’s case, and us, as fans, don’t know what goes on behind closed doors, but it certainly feels like his Manchester United career could be drawing to a close.
