Man United starlet Omari Forson signs new contract: report

Man United youngster Omari Forson has signed on the dotted line and committed his future to the Old Trafford club.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his coaching staff deserve huge credit for the immense collection of talent they’ve assembled at Manchester United.

I know all fan focus goes towards the first-team, but the work our youth coaches have done cannot go unnoticed. The fountain of youth at the AON Training Complex is overflowing.

From the likes of Shola Shoretire to Anthony Elanga, with a little Teden Mengi in between, these guys are pushing each other every single day in training – making everyone around them better.

Amongst the gems at Old Trafford right now is Omari Forson. The attacking midfielder only made the move to Manchester twelve months ago, but this boy has bags of potential.

Well, yesterday, it looks as though the emerging starlet has committed his future to United, signing his first pro deal here in Manchester. He looked absolutely delighted, all-smiles alongside his parents. Cheers to @utdreportacad for the information and snap!

What a week it has been for the man of Ghanaian heritage, scoring his first goal for the U23s, then being handsomely rewarded with a new deal. It to show how much United believe in this young man – while it goes without saying, this boy can play.

Now for Omari, it’ll be about continuing to work hard behind the scenes and making an even greater impression in the PL2. I don’t doubt he’ll do just that, genuinely giving Solskjaer something to think about next summer as that’s just how special this boy is.

For now, it’s an incredibly proud moment for the Forson family. They’ll absolutely be enjoying every single second of it – and so they should be.

Congratulations to you and your family, Omari!
