Man United continue their Europa League campaign in Germany tomorrow night. Now, David de Gea has given us a glimpse of what it’s like on the plane on the way there…
Well, this could be Manchester United’s final appearance in the Europa League for a while, so why not go out and try to win it, huh?
Yes, that’s right, we’re in the Champions League next season. However, there’s still a job to be done in 2020/21. Tomorrow night, the Red Devils take on Copenhagen in the quarter-final, with a place in the final four at stake.
The mini-tournament will be held in Germany, with the United squad flying out there today ahead of the meeting with the Danish side tomorrow night.
Anyway David de Gea has given us an insight as to what life is like on the plane. Bruno Fernandes, Diogo Dalot, Juan Mata and our Spanish number one were all wearing masks as they make their way over to Cologne.

Hopefully, these guys are feeling fit and well-rested, Fernandes and De Gea in particular. Neither have played since the final day of the Premier League season against Leicester. With a maximum of three games to play, you’d like to think they have it in them to perform at a high level ahead of a break before the 2020/21 term.
Copenhagen aren’t to be taken lightly. They’ve made it this far, playing some lovely football. Over a two-legged tie you’d fancy United to win comfortably. However, on their day, anyone can beat anyone in a 90-minute match. The Reds will have to be on it from minute one.
The FA Cup semi-final was a major disappointment. United have a chance to right those wrongs here, and how special would it be for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to win a major trophy?
Let’s go lads!
