Manchester United Football Club have won three away games in the last week, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looking to make it four on the spin.
The Red Devils’ task hasn’t been made any easier by injuries of late, though the Baby Faced Assassin has battled through and worked with what he has available.
Anyway, ahead of the 20-time Premier League champions’ game against Bournemouth on the south coast tomorrow, the club are sweating on the fitness of a key trio. Per journalist Samuel Luckhurst, all of Marcus Rashford, Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof will be assessed after picking up injuries against Chelsea.
It feels as though just when we get players back from injury, we lose some more. To make matters worse, all three of these are regular starters. I dread to think who could play at centre-half if both Maguire and Lindelof miss the clash – particularly due to the fact that Axel Tuanzebe is also sidelined.
As for Rashford, it’d be typical. Just as he’s rediscovered his shooting boots, he’ll be back on the treatment table and back to square one.
Hopefully, the problems aren’t anything too serious and at least one or two of these guys are fit enough for a spot on the bench at the very least…
