Three key Man United faces have been named in the BBC Team of the Week after their top displays.
Manchester United sit joint-top of the Premier League table after four games. Three wins and a draw isn’t a bad return, though games are going to increase in difficulty over the next few weeks.
Last time out against Newcastle United, the Reds were made to work for every inch. Eventually, we’d run out 4-1 winners on Cristiano Ronaldo’s homecoming.
Although our Portuguese superstar would steal the show with two goals, he cannot do it all on his own. Anyway, for their displays, a key trio were named in the BBC’s latest Team of the Week.

We have to start with the man of the moment. Ronaldo would score a goal either side of half-time to put United in control, rolling back the years and looking like he’d never been away.
It still feels surreal to have him back at Old Trafford. His aura, presence and general ability is going to be key if we’re serious about challenging for major honours this term.
Next up we have Bruno Fernandes. Not to be outdone by his Portuguese teammate, our attacking midfielder would score the pick of the bunch with a fantastic strike from outside the area.
Our third and final inclusion is Luke Shaw. The English full-back looked back to his best, bombing up and down the flank all-game long and providing the assist for Ronaldo’s second.
Spare a thought for Paul Pogba, who I actually thought was better than Bruno on the day. He should’ve definitely been included in this one here…
