Man United are set to be without three first-teamers through injury for the Everton game.
Manchester United Football Club return to their bread and butter this weekend, playing back in the Premier League.
The game against Everton will be tough, make no mistake about that. United have a fairly lengthy flight back from Cyprus beforehand, too, which makes it that little bit tougher.
Anyway, ahead of the game, Erik ten Hag met the media to discuss a variety of topics – including who is out injured. Raphael Varane was given a small chance at returning, though the gaffer did confirm that he’ll be without a trio of first-teamers for this game.
They’ll still be no Harry Maguire, who we believe is out for another fortnight or so. Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Donny van de Beek are both still missing, too.

“From the other players, Harry Maguire [is] not [available] and then it’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Donny van de Beek, both not [fit].” Ten Hag told club media.
As things stand, United only have two fit centre-backs; Lisandro Martinez and Victor Lindelof. If one of these guys picks up an injury problem, we could be in deep trouble in that area of the pitch.
Van de Beek is an interesting one. It didn’t really look like the Dutchman was fancied by Ten Hag even when fit, so it’ll be intriguing to see how he slots into the side (if at all).
Wan-Bissaka is talented, though I’m not sure his game fits in line with the way Ten Hag wants to play. That’s obviously his biggest stumbling block. Spending time out injured doesn’t help his case, either.
Hopefully, these guys are back sooner rather than later, as you never want to see players sidelined with injury.
