Man United have no intention of selling Amad this summer, amid a big-money bid from a top European side.

Manchester United Football Club are yet to make any major signings this summer, with the Red Devils looking to add some quality to a playing squad that definitely needs some reinforcement.

Alongside the potential incoming players is big-money exits. The Red Devils aren’t exactly bankrupt, though the transfer kitty could be bolstered by player sales, helping the Old Trafford side comply with Premier League spending rules.

One man who has seemingly attracted major attention is Amad. The young Ivorian became a match-day squad regular at the back end of last season, scoring a couple of impressive goals along the way.

Now, according to HITC, United have turned down an approach from a European ‘giant’, who were willing to pay in excess of £30m to sign Amad this summer.

Apparently, United have ‘zero interest’ in parting with Amad, who is now of ‘huge importance’ to Erik ten Hag.

The Reds paid big money to sign Amad from Atalanta a few years ago and I’ll be honest, I didn’t think he was going to cut the mustard here in Manchester.

A loan spell at Sunderland a couple of years ago seems to have rejuvenated the player, who is now ready to make a real mark at the Theatre of Dreams.

The right-wing position is definitely there for the taking, particularly if United do not bring in a signing in that area of the field this summer.

It all starts in pre-season for Amad. Unlike last time around, he has to stay fit, then I’d give him every chance at starting games with regularity.
