Manchester United are definitely a side heading in the right direction again, though there’s much work ahead for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his players.
One position that has been a real problem for quite some time now is right-wing. However, the Jadon Sancho rumours simply won’t go away…
If the Englishman isn’t an obtainable transfer target, it seems as though United are looking at other options; enter Ousmane Dembele…
The story comes from Sport, who’re claiming that United are weighing up a move for the £200k-a-week star (figures via Wage Indicator). However, the 20-time Premier League champions will face competition from Arsenal.
Dembele, who currently plies his trade for FC Barcelona, has endured an injury-hit start to life in La Liga. Obviously, that has left both the player and club considering their options.
It’s always tough to turn things around after a bad start to life in new surroundings and it’s often easier to move on. However, for United, there are probably better options out there.
Don’t get me wrong, I like Dembele and I think he’s a talented young man. However, if there’s any chance whatsoever the Reds can sign Sancho, they must go all out and get the Englishman instead.
What d’ya reckon, Reds?
