Man United will demand £35million for out-of-favour star: report

Manchester United will demand £35million, should a club enquire about the possibility in regards to signing Henrikh Mkhitaryan in January. That’s according to the Daily Mail.

Apparently, Inter Milan have shown an interest in the former Borussia Dortmund attacker, who has been completely frozen out following a poor run of form back in October and November.

This is a real shame. Mkhitaryan came with promise aplenty when he made the move to Old Trafford, and we’ve seen glimmers of the brilliance that he possesses.

Even at the start of the current season, the attacker was at the heart of everything good about our play, but, as the season has worn on, his form has gotten gradually worse and it’s easy to see why he has been dropped completely.

What’s worrying for me is that there seems to be no fight or desire to win back his place. Instead, he’s content with picking up his weekly wage while not even trying to force his way back into the matchday squad.

That’s not the attitude you want to see from a player who should be up there with the top performers in the Premier League, and if United can get the £35million they want for him, then I’d snap the hand off the buying club.
