Manchester United will likely complete the signing of Nemanja Matic over the next 48 hours, according to Pilib De Brun. He took to Twitter to express his views on the news, whilst also adding that the Red Devils have received a £10million bid to let Marouane Fellaini leave Old Trafford.
First of all, it seems like the perfect one-in one-out scenario. Jose Mourinho knows Matic well from their time at Chelsea, and the man from Serbia would seamlessly fit straight into a midfield three alongside Paul Pogba and Ander Herrera.
I was slightly sceptical at the prospect of signing Matic at first, but that extra protection he’d offer our back four would be priceless. Although Fellaini is combative and physical, defensively, he’s nowhere near as good as his Chelsea counterpart when it comes to doing the dirty work.
Matic will most likely be a Utd player in the next couple of days. Galatasary offered 10m for Fellaini, not sure if it's been accepted

The only problem is that if we let Fellaini go for the aforementioned £10million fee, no doubt United would have to put a fair bit of money on top of that to even tempt the Stamford Bridge club into selling a key member of their first-team squad.
In my opinion, Mourinho must be disappointed at the speed in which Edward Woodward is going about our business this summer. It’s been extremely slow thus far, and the United board members simply have to get a move on to push deals over the line before the start of the season.
