Man United willing to make £115m offer to sign Eduardo Camavinga

Man United are ready to spend big to bring in Eduardo Camavinga from Real Madrid…

Manchester United’s midfield looks vastly different to how it did about a year ago. The Old Trafford club are moving in a positive direction under Erik ten Hag.

The Red Devils are always looking for ways to further upgrade under this progressive manager, with more signings being eyed going into a massive summer window.

Enter, Eduardo Camavinga.

The Frenchman currently plies his trade for Real Madrid, with Camavinga looking like a vital cog in their machine.

Now, according to Fichajes, United are willing to offer £115m to sign the 20-year-old midfielder this summer.

Obviously, that’s a huge amount of money, though you’re paying for longevity here. Camavinga is someone who could give you a decade-plus of service all being well.

The question comes down to whether Real Madrid would actually part with one of their most valuable assets? Camavinga is someone who can fulfil many roles in that Madrid midfield and I struggle to see why they’d want to cash in…

It also depends on whether United are prepared to spend such a large sum of money on one player, when other areas still need help. Obviously, the Reds are desperate for an elite level striker, while the defence could also use some further tweaking.

A lot depends on the ownership, too. United could well have fresh faces in charge when the summer comes – for better or for worse depending on if the Glazers sell up. God forbid they’re still around, then I don’t see any way how this move happens…
