Man United willing to sell Anthony Martial this summer – on one condition: report

Manchester United are willing to sell Anthony Martial this summer, but only on one condition; he won’t be allowed to join a fellow Premier League side.

That’s what the Daily Mail are claiming, with the club fearing that if he were to remain in England, Martial would come back to haunt the Red Devils.

The 22-year-old has struggled massively since Alexis Sanchez’s arrival in January, in fact, the first month of 2018 was when Martial scored his last goal for United…

Apparently, Chelsea are believed to be interested in the superstar Frenchman, who was omitted from Didier Deschamps’ World Cup squad earlier this week.

Personally, I feel as though the writing is on the wall for him, and at this point in time, I’d be pretty surprised if Martial stays at Old Trafford beyond this summer.

It would be a huge shame to lose a player with his immense ability, but I’m just not sure where he’s going to get his minutes from. Obviously, the aforementioned Sanchez is first in the pecking order on the left, whereas Romelu Lukaku is the clear #1 option up front. I’d also assume that Marcus Rashford is probably further up in Mourinho’s plans, which doesn’t spell good news for the fan favourite…
