Man United ‘willing to sell’ Brandon Williams for the right price

Man United could sell Brandon Williams, but only if the price is right.

As of yet, it has all been pretty static in terms of incomings. Manchester United aren’t really close to bringing anyone in imminently, though there’s plenty of work going on in terms of outbound players.

Several will leave upon the expiry of their contracts at the end of this month, while others will be sold – presumably to clear space in the squad for possible additions.

One man whose future remains up in the air is Brandon Williams. Apparently, this week he has been told he can leave the club.

Now, The Sun have an update for us in regards to Williams’ future. They state in their headline that United are ‘willing to sell’ the 21-year-old, but only for the right price.

The versatile Williams spent last season with Norwich City, impressing individually in a side that struggled for any sort of consistency.

It’s now thought that a fee of around £10million should get the deal done and tempt United into parting with the Harpurhey-born-defender.

This is an intriguing one. Williams is a really nice option as a rotational player who can dip in and out of the side when required. However, it seems as though he’s going to struggle to start every week at Old Trafford as things stand; which is probably what he wants.

With Williams a boyhood United fan, this definitely helps the club’s case as he’ll want to do everything within his power to make it at the Theatre of Dreams.

Hopefully, Williams gets his chance on pre-season tour, plays well and forces his way into Erik ten Hag’s permanent plans.
