Manchester United’s season has been derailed by injury for the most part. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has effectively been working with one hand tied behind his back at times. Simply put, it hasn’t been easy for the Baby Faced Assassin.
Well, it seems as though things are looking up as United get a big injury lift. Only three players missed today’s training session ahead of the Club Brugge return leg, ManUtd.com have confirmed.
Marcus Rashford, Lee Grant and Paul Pogba were the only ones who missed the session at the AON Training Complex today, allaying fears about others.
Mason Greenwood limped off after scoring, though he took part in training, as did Scott McTominay who made his return against Watford after a lengthy layoff.
Defensively, both Phil Jones and Axel Tuanzebe were involved, as was Eric Bailly and Timothy Fosu-Mensah. Suddenly, the Reds are looking pretty stacked in that area of the field.
Thankfully, things are looking up just at the right time. Hopefully, Pogba isn’t too far away either. As for Rashford, I just hope he fully recovers before the club try and rush him back as we need him in the long-term. After all, he’s the future of this club…
