Man United’s on loan starlet: It’s my dream to play for Manchester United

Manchester United have always been known as a footballing family that produces and nurtures young talents. That definitely is a tradition that we’ve seen continued during recent times, with the likes of Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard an integral part of the squad.

The coaching staff will always be looking for that latest up and coming prospect, and one man who I’ve enjoyed watching at both youth level and whilst on loan this season is Andreas Pereira. The little Brazilian does have a handful of first-team appearances for the Red Devils,

The little Brazilian does have a handful of first-team appearances for the Red Devils, and he also has a goal to his name after that excellent free-kick against Ipswich in the cup last season.

Now 21, Jose took the decision to allow the attacking midfielder to leave the club on loan with Granada out in Spain, and Pereira has become a key figure in their push to remain in the top division.

“It’s my dream to play for United on a regular basis,” Pereira is quoted as saying by Manchester United’s official website. “It always has been a dream but now I’m here at Granada and I have to focus here to get us out of this situation. My dream will always be there and, next season, I will fight for it.”

“We have 10 games left here so I can’t say it’s impossible. It will be hard, of course, but I will try my best until the very last game and try to ensure we’re not relegated.”

Massive credit has to go to the clever little Brazilian. It wouldn’t have been easy for him when he learned he’d be off to another country for a whole year, but he’s adapted really well and that would have impressed Jose Mourinho.

It definitely gives our Portuguese manager something to think about at the very least, and I sincerely hope he get’s an opportunity to prove his worth whilst on pre-season tour this coming summer. He deserves a chance at the very least, and I believe he’ll get it.

We’re now entering the final two months of the season so this is the time where he has to really hit the next gear. I truly believe he’s capable of becoming a guy that Manchester United could hand starts to on a regular basis.
