Manchester United are not renowned as a club for their selling of players, however they could be about to receive one of the biggest transfer fees in their history, as Javier Hernandez could be sold to Real Madrid for €20million.
The news comes from Spanish media outlet El Confidencial, who say that the decision must be made within three days or there will be an open market for the 26-year old striker.
Chicharito had a slow start to life in Madrid, but that has picked up since the injury to Karim Benzeme, giving the Mexican striker a real chance.
Since then he has scored in the Champions League quarter-final against Atletico Madrid, before bagging a brace this weekend against Celta Vigo.
Personally I’d like to see Javier Hernandez given a chance. We all know how prolific he can be, and with our lack of striking options at the moment, it’d surely be worth giving him a season under Louis van Gaal.
