Manchester United’s transfer in comings have dried up recently, but it looks as though Louis van Gaal is still on the prowl to bring new faces into the club before the season starts in August.
According to Martin Lipton, United are close to sealing a move for Lazio’s attacking midfielder Felipe Anderson. The Brazilian has been in fine form this season for the Itslian side who managed to scrape into the champions League playoffs in a similar manner to how United earned their spot.
Once again, signing Felipe Anderson would be a bit of a concern. United need proven quality at this moment in time, and however talented Anderson may be we need someone who can come in to the side and make instant impact.
The 22-year old is more one for the future, and we have an abundance of talent in his position at the club, including Adnan Januzaj and Andreas Pereira.
