Man Utd could be offered Isco in player-plus-cash Pogba deal by Real Madrid: report

Manchester United Football Club have themselves a serious Paul Pogba problem. The mercurial Frenchman has barely played this term and forgive me for thinking he’s definitely being patient in regards to making a comeback…

For me, the writing seems on the wall. The World Cup winner will probably leave Old Trafford this term and now for United it’s about maximising the return for the star midfield maestro.

Well, it seems as though Real Madrid are still keen on acquiring Zinedine Zidane’s compatriot. That’s what a report from El Desmarque, translated by the Daily Express, leads us to believe anyway…

Apparently, United could be offered the superstar 27-year-old Isco as part of a ‘tempting’ player-plus-cash swap deal to bring Pogba to the Spanish capital.

Furthermore, Florentino Perez is ‘eager’ to satisfy the demands of Zidane and no doubt a link-up with his fellow Frenchman would definitely set them on the right path.

Isco is apparently on United’s radar, as the Real Madrid president Perez looks to reduce the cash layout to sign Pogba – whose Reds contract is slowly but surely running down.

Right now, it does make sense to cash in on Pogba and re-invest that money into the playing squad. He doesn’t want to be here, so why should we want to keep him? Let’s be honest, he’s hardly lived up to the hype since his arrival three-and-a-half years ago, so maximise his value and look at targeting footballers who want to wear the United badge with pride.
