Man Utd could lose James Wilson & Paddy McNair on free transfers

Manchester United are running the risk of losing young gems like James Wilson, Paddy McNair, Tyler Blackett, Jesse Lingard, Andreas Pereira and finally Reece James, as their contracts run out in the summer – leaving them free to speak to foreign clubs and sign a pre-contract from January 1st.

The news comes from the Daily Mail, who further add that although deals are on the table for James Wilson and Tyler Blackett, those haven’t been finalised as of yet.

This is quite concerning, particularly in the case of James Wilson who has recently broke into the first-team squad on a regular basis. The young striker has shown great potential since bursting on the scene against Hull City last season.

We all know what happened with Paul Pogba, and it’d be a real shame if we lost out on some more excellent talents in a similar manner after not learning our lesson.

Hopefully the club can get these tied down to new deals as soon as possible so they can concentrate solely on their football rather than worrying about money.

Who should United retain out of the youngsters who are out of contract? Leave you’re thoughts in the comment box below.
