Man Utd could permanently sell Adnan Januzaj in the summer

Manchester United could be set to be involved in one of the most controversial moves of the upcoming transfer window, as Louis van Gaal ponders selling the Belgian starlet Adnan Januzaj, claim the Manchester Evening News.

Januzaj, 20, burst onto the scene as one of Manchester United’s top performers last season under David Moyes, has since struggled to make a similar impact under Louis van Gaal.

The Belgian has been asked to play many different roles and has seen his game time extremely limited, with several loan bids for the starlet coming Manchester United’s way in January.

All approaches for Januzaj were rejected by Louis van Gaal then, but this summer things could be different.

With Juan Mata’s return to form, Ashley Young still putting in solid performances, and Di Maria also waiting in the wings. Plus you add to that the inevitable signing of Memphis Depay in the summer, the writing could well be on the wall for Januzaj.

Personally I’d like to see him go out on loan for a season fist, but we’ll just have to wait and see.
