Manchester United could be about to sell one of their hottest young starlets this summer, as Jesse Lingard is a reported transfer target for Bristol City, according to the Bristol Post. They say that the Championship team are prepared to smash their transfer record to land our young starlet.
Lingard, 22, thoroughly impressed on the last few pre-season tours, but has failed to land a regular run in the side during the regular season which has been the problem for the England U21 international.
Louis van Gaal clearly has faith in him however, having started him in United’s season opener against Swansea last season but he was forced off cruelly midway through the first half with an injury.
Personally I feel we should keep hold of him as he could be a late bloomer and really help us at times this season, but I would understand his decision if he does decide to leave.

We should loan him out to a prem side to gain first team experience as think he could be a great player but unlikely to get a regular spot this year, although could be useful off the bench.
