Manchester United’s injury-hit squad has eased up somewhat over the last few months, but those problems seem to be returning slowly but surely. Robin van Persie limped out of the Liberty on crutches, and yesterday, James Wilson hobbled off as United’s U21s played Sunderland’s youth team.
Wilson, 19, has been in and out of the first-team this season, but his performance levels certainly seem to be improving as well as his confidence.
The injury isn’t thought to be serious, so it shouldn’t keep him out for too long as its only a dead leg. It is a bit of a concern though, as the young starlet has picked up a few injuries this season – hopefully its just a blip.
Does James Wilson deserve a run in the first-team side? Leave your thoughts in the comment box below.
