Manchester United have had a successful summer thus far, including fantastic signings and pre-season results going their way so far. Louis van Gaal has guided his side to two pre-season wins out of two, but tougher tasks certainly await.
United play Barcelona on Saturday, and many thought we could see new signings in before that point, however that now seems to look extremely unlikely.
The club have been dealt major blows in pursuit of two signings, after being told that both Thomas Muller and Sergio Ramos are not for sale at any price by their respective clubs, according to the Independent.
These two players have been high on United’s priority list for quite some time, and it would be bitterly disappointing if we fail to land both of these huge names – even signing one would be a huge signal of intent.
Would either of these two be good signings? Let us know your thoughts in the comment box below.
