Man Utd defender hit with fresh injury after recent return to action

Manchester United will be getting rather concerned about the amount of times Luke Shaw is picking up injuries to his ankle, as once again the England left-back was taken off with a similar problem against Yeovil. It is the fourth time he has been injured since making the move to Old Trafford in the summer.

When he first joined the club, Shaw had a solid pre-season despite being labelled unfit by Louis van Gaal, but before the season opener Shaw was ruled out for a month with a hamstring problem.

Since then he has had three ankle concerns which have kept him out for a further two months. Its worrying because the only injury he picked up whilst playing for Southampton was a problem with the same ankle.

Hopefully he isn’t going to be our Jack Wilshere who is constantly injured all the time, because it can ruin a players career due to a lack of playing time and the experience you need to mature.
