Manchester United have been linked with a whole host of names over the last few weeks, but one player that always seems to crop up is Southampton’s Morgan Schneiderlin. Although no bid has been made yet, the interest seems to be real.
According to The Telegraph, a bid for the 25-year old Frenchman is ‘imminent’, with the Old Trafford club preparing an offer for Schneiderlin.
The midfielder ticks all the boxes. He has Premier League experience, can play in numerous positions in the middle of the park, and is young enough to make any hefty outlay for his signature worthwhile.
It would be an astute bit of business, and honestly there aren’t many better central midfielders in the country plying their trade at the moment.
Obviously you’d expect United to bring in more than one midfielder this summer, but Morgan Schneiderlin would certainly be a good start.
