Manchester United are looking to get back into the Champions League next season, and with those extra games comes more players needed. One midfielder who United are keen on, is Borussia Dortmund’s Ilkay Gundogan, claim The Sun.
There is probably no better time to try and sign one of Dortmund’s key players, with Jurgen Klopp confirming that he’ll be leaving the club this summer, too.
The German midfielder had been out of action for a while, with rumours suggesting that he may have to retire at one point. However the 24-year old has come back strong and he now enters the last year of his contract in Germany.
Reports suggest that he’d cost somewhere around the £20million mark, which for someone of his talent and calibre could prove to be a steal. The only concern would be keeping him fit, but hopefully the injuries are now behind him, and he can focus solely on improving his game.
