Yesterday, Sky Sports News broke the story claiming that Manchester United have told Jose Mourinho that the Old Trafford job is his; only if Louis van Gaal leaves this summer. It now almost looks like a certainty that the self-proclaimed Special One will be United boss come next season.
Louis van Gaal obviously hasn’t impressed the Old Trafford faithful this season, after a series of drab results, and unwatchable performances at times. However he still has to lead his side out in an FA Cup final, and we still don’t reckon anything will happen before then.
As you’d imagine, the Manchester United fans were ecstatic when Sky Sports broke this story yesterday, with large portions of the fans more excited about the fact that it means Louis van Gaal will be gone.
It has always felt like Jose Mourinho has craved the United job ever since that first time he got sacked at Chelsea, and it finally looks like the Portuguese manager is about to get his wish.

Louis Van Gaal will be sacked. End of story imo. You'd have to be out of your mind keeping him as manager when Jose Mourinho wants the job.
