Robin van Persie missed the 3-1 win away at Preston on Monday night with an injury, but Louis van Gaal has given us some positive news regarding his compatriot’s fitness:
“He shall be fit, so it is dependable if I select him,” Van Gaal said when quizzed about Van Persie’s fitness.
Its tough to work out whether Robin will feature against Swansea this weekend. The Dutchman hasn’t been in the best form of late, but somehow he has still found a way to hit the back of the net. The 31-year old has a fantastic scoring record against this weekend’s opponents, so the Iron Tulip certainly has a small selection dilemma on his hands.
