Manchester United clearly have a big task on their hands regarding the current goalkeeper situation. David de Gea’s future is well and truly up in the air, and we’re no closer to learning whether he’ll stay at the club next season.
Manchester United’s backup shot-stopper is Victor Valdes, and after his exclusion from the club pre-season tour of the USA, his long-term future at the club was thrown into turmoil, however after this tweet today, it looks like he’ll be staying:

Victor Valdes is clearly a talented keeper, but good enough to be Manchester United’s number one? I’m not so sure. He looked fragile against Hull City’s aerial presence on the last day of the season, and that could definitely get exposed in such a physical league.
Should United keep Valdes? Let us know your thoughts in the comment box below.
