Man Utd handed huge boost in Paul Pogba pursuit

Manchester United let Paul Pogba go in acrimonious circumstances back in 2011, and since then the young Frenchman has been setting the world alight with truly world class performances. However, the 21-year old could be all set for a sensational return to Old Trafford.

No doubt there would be plenty of potential buyers for the gifted midfielder, and a return to United could well be on the cards, claim The Metro.

When quizzed about Pogba’s future, Juventus’ boss Allegri said:

‘To win games, you need to have strong players, otherwise there wouldn’t be players worth 100 million euros (£75 million) and others worth five’, he said.

‘Everything has a value in life, unfortunately, and the outstanding players are hard to replace, but things always move on in football.

‘For now, let’s just enjoy having him.’

Massimiliano Allegri doesn’t seem all that confident of keeping hold of Pogba for the long-term, and its quite obvious that he will want to move onto bigger and better things to further his career.

Its interesting that recently he has been saying nice things about Manchester United though, maybe he knows something we don’t?
