Late last night reports from France were emerging suggesting that Manchester United are extremely keen on bringing Morgan Schneiderlin to Old Trafford this summer, and this morning those statements have been backed up from major media outlets in England.
According to The Mirror, Manchester United are trying to hijack Arsenal’s move for the Frenchman, and are now in pole position to land him for a fee around the £25million mark.
The 25-year old has told Southampton that if a Champions League club makes a solid offer for him then he will leave Saint Mary’s this summer, and if these reports turn out to be true then we could well see Schneiderlin swapping the red and white of Southampton for the red of Manchester United next season.
There aren’t many better holding midfielders in the Premier League, and at 25 he still has plenty of playing left in him. For me he’d be the perfect choice to come in and support Michael Carrick next term.

Hahaha, more delusion I’m afraid. If you think that Schneiderlin would be happy to come to Old Trafford and just warm the bench for Carrick, I’d say you’ve probably been smoking the same stuff as Brendan Rogers when he reckoned he could sign Nathanial Clyne from us for £10 million. Really??? LOL!!
