Man Utd keen on signing world class Brazilian full-back

Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal is seemingly unconvinced by the performances of our only natural right-back in the squad in Rafael da Silva. That has led to a lot of rumours flying around about a potential signing in that spot, and the latest name in the hat is Dani Alves of Barcelona.

According to The Mirror, the out-of-contract 31-year old is being targeted by no fewer than seven clubs who include Premier League duo United and Liverpool.

Alves has been there and done it all with Barcelona, and it is thought he has rejected a new contract at the Camp Nou as he wants a longer deal with more money put on the table.

Van Gaal is a huge admirer of Alves, and there is little risk involved in bringing him in as he would come in for free. He is proven, and has experience which is something our defence needs.

Its a no brainer for me, sign him up Louis!
