Man Utd key star all set to make huge return to action following lengthy lay-off

Luke Shaw could be about to make his comeback to football after an almost twelve-month lay-off with injury. The 20-year-old suffered a double leg break away at PSV in the Champions League back in September, but could return in just over one week.

Manchester United get their pre-season underway with a game against Wigan next Saturday, and according to the Manchester Evening News, we could see Luke Shaw back involved.

What a brilliant moment it will be for the young man to be back involved and playing again. At the end of the day, it was a freak incident what happened, but Luke Shaw has remained positive throughout, and kept thinking about a return.

He made a stunning start to the season, as he buccaneered up and down that left flank for the first six weeks of the year, to have it cruelly taken away from him.

Let’s be honest, it will take time for him to get back to anywhere near his best – and he has to keep believing in his own ability.
