Man Utd lose talented striker on a permanent deal

Manchester United have sold Chilean striker Angelo Henriquez to Dinamo Zagreb on a permanent deal, their manager has confirmed. Henriquez, 20, arrived at United for a £4million fee back in 2012, and has impressed on a series of loan deals away from the club.

His play style is very similar to that of Javier Hernandez’s, and with the right amount of minutes and game time, he could well turn out to be one of the most clinical finishes in world football.

“We have bought him outright for €1m. We have already signed a contract with him for the summer. There is no doubt it is ours and deal is resolved,” The Zagreb manager confirmed.

This is disappointing news to be honest. Wherever he has been, Angelo Henriquez has scored plenty of goals. He didn’t really get that chance with the Manchester United first-team like James Wilson did, and I don’t think it’ll be long before we see another top club going in for Henriquez’s signature.
