Manchester United’s interest in Sergio Ramos has been well documented over the last few days, with the move coming out of the blue and looking like it could happen rather quickly. The first official approach for the 29-year old has been made, according to the Daily Mail.
Manchester United have bid £35million for the Spaniard, in a deal that does not include David de Gea going the other way. However it is thought that Real Madrid will be holding out for closer to £50million if they are to part with one of their prized assets this summer.
Sergio Ramos would be a fantastic acquisition if United and Louis van Gaal can get the deal done, and it’d be even better if Edward Woodward and co keep rejecting offers for David de Gea.
The defender would give us that much-needed experience at the back, and his passion on the football field is second to none.
