Manchester United have completed one bit of transfer business already, with Memphis Depay agreeing a move to Old Trafford. Louis van Gaal’s intentions are clear, as he looks to get fresh faces into the club as early as possible.
Manchester United were thought to have a lot of interest in the Burnley striker Danny Ings. Now that may still be the case, but the Old Trafford club are no longer favourites for his signature, with Liverpool replacing them in the betting.
Manchester United need a fast striker who can play in a 4-3-3 formation, and thats exactly what Ings does for Burnley at the moment. Despite him being available on a free transfer, I’d like to see a more proven player come into the club instead.
Alexandre Lacazette would be my number one choice, with the striker all set to leave Lyon this summer.
