Yesterday strong reports emerged that Manchester United’s interest in Sergio Ramos was extremely real, despite looking unlikely as the Spanish club clearly do not want to sell their most senior centre-half. However fresh links from the Spanish media outlet AS have now come to light.
AS say that Louis van Gaal has now made an offer to Real for Ramos, and it does seem like a bit of an unbelievable one – €30million PLUS David de Gea.
This seems like an extremely huge amount of money to pay for Ramos, despite how talented the 29-year old is.
A straight swap between the players would be a much better deal for Manchester United, and hopefully the Old Trafford club will be standing firm and not allowing De Gea go on the cheap.
