Man Utd player ratings vs Spurs during dreadful 6-1 defeat

David de Gea – Had to pick the ball out of the back of his net six times. None of the goals were his fault. 5/10

Aaron Wan-Bissaka – Understandbly quiet in an attacking capacity. Defended his side fairly well all things considered. 4/10

Eric Bailly – Either brilliant or dreadful. Today, it was the latter. He was just far too rash which left way too much room for Spurs. 3/10

Harry Maguire – Pathetic. And he’s supposed to be our captain!? At fault for the first two goals, during which he actually wrestled his own player Luke Shaw to the floor… 1/10

Luke Shaw – Positionally poor. Gave the ball away too many times and was lucky to not be sent off late in the game. Alex Telles starting next game as left-back, anyone…? 2/10

Nemanja Matic – Hooked at half-time after being overrun by Spurs. The extra man certainly helped our opponents. 4/10

Paul Pogba – Atrocious. Embarrassing. Pathetic. Gave the ball away far too often. Was way too sloppy in possession and continues to portray this careless attitude. 1/10

Bruno Fernandes – Subbed at HT when the game was 4-1. Did score a penalty early, but that was about it. 5/10

Marcus Rashford – Couldn’t get on the ball in threatening positions. 3/10

Mason Greenwood – Quiet. 3/10

Anthony Martial – Won the early penalty. Was stupidly sent off for raising his hand to Erik Lamela’s face. What on earth was he thinking…? 2/10

Fred – Just as bad as the starters.

Scott McTominay – Did nothing of note.

Donny van de Beek – Felt sorry for him being thrown into that game.
