Manchester United are preparing a sensational move for Juventus’ star midfielder, Paul Pogba. The Frenchman left Manchester United on a free transfer in acrimonious circumstances back in 2012, and since then the 21-year old has lit the footballing world alight with outstanding performances.
Pogba was reportedly unhappy due to the lack of playing time he was getting the summer before he left, having made a few cameo appearances from off the bench.
The Daily star reckon that United are prepared to pay a huge £77million fee to land Pogba, but they’ll face stern competition from Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester City too.
After hearing the news that Gareth Bale wants to stay at Madrid, Louis van Gaal has earmarked Pogba as United’s marquee signing for next summer, and he’s a player who’d dramatically improve our midfield.
The scary thing is that he is only 21 years of age and he has so much developing to do. You just wonder whether he’d be prepared to move back to Manchester United after what happened between him and Sir Alex Ferguson back in 2012.
