Manchester United have a few youngsters who’s contracts run out in the not too distant future, and one of those is the young starlet James Wilson. Wilson, who has featured quite regularly for the first-team squad is expected to be offered a new £20,000-a-week contract at Old Trafford, claim The Star.
Wilson scored his first goal of the season against QPR a couple of weeks ago, and put in an excellent cameo performance from off of the bench. Last time out against Cambridge he was much quieter, but thats expected from time-to-time as the 19-year old is still learning the ins and outs of professional football at the highest level.
Hopefully Wilson will sign the contract and first-team football will keep coming his way because he definitely deserves his chance. Louis van Gaal clearly has a lot of faith in the man from Biddulph, after he let Danny Welbeck leave for Arsenal in the summer.
