Man Utd player ratings during 3-1 loss to PSG

The Red Devils now have to secure at least a point against RB Leipzig to progress into the Champions League knockout stage. Man Utd would lose 3-1 to the Ligue 1 Champions but here are our player ratings vs PSG…

David de Gea – Made a couple of important saves, but in the end they were in vein. Could have done better with the Neymar opener. 6/10

Aaron Wan-Bissaka – Played his part in the Rashford equaliser. Did his defensive duties well. 6/10

Victor Lindelof – Was ok, but you felt like PSG were targeting him. 5/10

Harry Maguire – Couldn’t deal with the speed of PSG’s attack. Struggled throughout. 3/10

Alex Telles – Poor positioning for Neymar’s opener. Did try to make things happen up the other end, though… 5/10

Scott McTominay – I actually thought he was very good. Threw his weight around and tried to instigate attacks. 6/10

Fred – A walking red card. Very lucky to avoid a sending off in the first half, but was eventually sent off for a foul that ironically wasn’t even a foul. 4/10

Bruno Fernandes – Opened up a glorious chance for Martial, but that was about it… 6/10

Anthony Martial – Missed an absolute sitter. Didn’t get into the game at all. Not good enough. 3/10

Marcus Rashford – Dragged United back into the game and really threatened that PSG back line. Had to be subbed off with an injury… 6/10

Edinson Cavani – Grew into the game. Unlucky not to score with an outrageous chip that hit the bar. 5/10

Subs:

Paul Pogba – Produced a great effort from nothing.

Donny van de Beek – Kept things ticking over.

Mason Greenwood – Didn’t really get into it.

Odion Ighalo – Not enough time to mark.
